Hi All,

I wanted to welcome Adrian Wajsbrem to Aggreg’s advisory board. Adrian is working from Australia and Israel, and has been a great contribution for the good changes happening on aggreg’s sites recently (Strategicboard, King Ping and TrendMapper). Adrian is very insightful about web 2.0, usability and user experience in general. At the moment he runs Launchpad Israel whilst working with us and others in the Israeli hi-tech arena.

Thanks for everything until today and hoping for a fruitful cooperation,
Dudu Mimran

Strategicboard Image Search

Posted on: May 18th, 2007

Hi All,

We’ve added image only search. The way it works is simple. For every search you do you can click the “images only” checkbox and then results are made of images tiled one after another. Check out for example Search on “Cool”.

Hi All,

Now you can add our mini search widget to your blog either set on a specific search result or our top posts view.

To add it either go to Strategicboard and click on Search Widget at the top or add the following html code onto your blog template.

<iframe frameborder="0" src="http://www.strategicboard.com/index.php?fr=m" width="196" height="350" scrolling="no" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0"></iframe>

I have it already on my blog in the right side.

Aggreg acquired TrendMapper - Updated

Posted on: May 4th, 2007

We have recently acquired TrendMapper from Eirik Solheim, the web service innovator.

TrendMapper in few words is a service that tracks user-submitted searches on the three major search engines (Google, MSN and Yahoo) and records the number of hits it finds every day. Within time It creates a graph that displays the trend created on the search phrase. Check out an example graph on Podcasting and see the obvious growth in Podcasting usage. The site is currently under a major face-lift, which holds many new exciting features and an intuitive user interface. It will be re-launched in few weeks.

Most important I wanted to express my gratitude to Eirik for a smooth and pleasent business transaction and Eirik also accepted an offer to advise us in the new roadmap TrendMapper.

Stay tuned to the launch post.
